Sara believes in the power of storytelling to build connections. She comes from a long line of caring communicators and leverages her years of corporate marketing and journalism experience to help raise awareness of Empowered Tutoring’s mission. She and her husband, Anthony, have three grown children and live in Appleton. In her spare time, she appreciates a good story in any form – books, articles, films, shows, theater and conversing with friends. She grew up on a dairy farm in northeastern Ohio and is a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan. 

Amanda has a heart for kids and students and is passionate about helping them grow and navigate life’s challenges. With a background in Elementary Education, volunteer work with kids and teens, and experience in marketing, she brings strong organizational and collaborative skills to her work. A California Central Coast native, Amanda loves the beach, reading, good coffee, road trips, fishing, and watching college football. For the past 25 years, she has served alongside her husband, Jason, in pastoral ministry across the United States. Together they have two daughters who are currently pursuing their college educations.

Connie has over 20 years of experience in various office management roles in the real estate and medical fields. Her areas of expertise include human resources, bookkeeping, customer service, and workflow optimization. Connie has a lifelong love of reading and a passion for helping children. Connie is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her kids, and her grandkids, as well as reading, gardening, and scrapbooking.
