Collaboration with local high schools
In partnership with Green Bay West High School, Empowered Tutoring tutors provide 1:1 academic tutoring, ACT test prep assistance, and life skills mentoring to a group of under-served high school students. Tutors are working on campus to provide general math, science and reading assistance as well as STEM subject tutoring (e.g., Chemistry, Algebra II, Pre-calculus, etc.). A second element of the program is mentoring – supporting the students as they develop critical life skills that will allow them to successfully pursue their post-secondary educational dreams.
